Dog friendlyUnlike the more common upright Butterfly Bushes, Buddleja alternifolia is prized for its spectacular fountain-like habit. Its long, slender branches arch elegantly toward the ground, and in June and July, they are completely garlanded with dense clusters of honey-scented, lilac-purple blooms. The foliage is equally distinct, featuring narrow, willow-like silver-green leaves that are arranged alternately along the stems.
This vigorous shrub is a magnet for butterflies and pollinators, making it an essential addition to wildlife-friendly gardens. Because it flowers on the previous year's wood, it should be pruned immediately after flowering to maintain its shape and ensure a prolific display the following year. It is exceptionally hardy and drought-tolerant once established, thriving in a sunny position with well-drained soil. To give it the best possible start and encourage a deep, healthy root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting. To support its vigorous growth and abundant flowering, apply Vitax Q4 All Purpose Fertiliser in early spring.

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
