Short description

Citrus Calamondin is a compact, evergreen citrus plant ideal for growing in pots. It thrives outdoors in summer but must be brought indoors over winter, needing a minimum temperature of 10°C. This plant is a cross between a kumquat and a tangerine, producing small orange fruits with sweet skins and sour flesh—perfect for marmalade or cooking. Fragrant white flowers appear year-round, and fruits may take up to a year to ripen. Can reach 1–1.5m tall and wide in a container. 

Grow in full sun, ideally in a sheltered spot. Use citrus compost or John Innes No.3 for best results. Water regularly in summer and reduce watering in winter. Feed weekly from early spring to late summer with a citrus-specific fertiliser. Move indoors before temperatures drop below 10°C.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect

We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.

We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.

Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.

Local Deliveries

Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre. 

We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only. 

Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
