Dog friendly'Bowles's Mauve' is a truly exceptional evergreen perennial that behaves like a small shrub. It is celebrated for its unparalleled flowering season, which typically begins in late winter and can last well into the autumn. The deep mauve-purple flowers are held on sturdy spikes above a neat mound of narrow, glaucous blue-grey foliage.
Unlike many other wallflowers, this variety is sterile, meaning it doesn't waste energy producing seeds; instead, it puts all its vigour into continuous blooming. It is a magnet for bees and butterflies, providing a vital nectar source over a long period. It thrives in sunny, well-drained spots and is particularly well-suited to Mediterranean-style gardens, rockeries, or contemporary borders. While it is relatively short-lived (usually lasting 3-5 years), its sheer productivity makes it indispensable. To ensure it gets the best possible start in well-drained soil, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
