Dog friendly'Hot Lips' is one of the most popular Salvias in the UK, loved for its playful personality and incredible stamina. Throughout the summer and autumn, it is smothered in small, two-toned flowers. Interestingly, the colour is temperature-dependent: in very hot weather, the flowers may turn all white; in cooler periods, they may turn all red; but during most of the season, they display the perfect "red lips" contrast.
The foliage is equally delightful—small, aromatic, bright green leaves that release a refreshing blackcurrant scent when brushed or crushed. It has a bushy, upright habit and is a magnet for bees, butterflies, and moths. While technically a shrubby perennial, it behaves like a small shrub in many gardens. It is exceptionally drought-tolerant once established and thrives in the hottest, sunniest spots of the garden. To ensure it survives the winter and thrives the following year, wait until spring to prune it back. We recommend using Rootgrow when planting to help it establish quickly.

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
