Parsley is the most popular and widely grown of all the herbs. It is rich in vitamins and can be used raw as a garnish or in salads. It is so versatile it can even be added to many recipes and sauces during cooking. It is ideal for freezing but as it is such a hardy herb, there is rarely any need to do this. The ideal plant to have on your window sill in your kitchen! Plain or French Parsley is the variety that is used all over Europe. It produces flat dark green leaves with the most outstanding flavour of all the varieties available, making it the ideal addition to any meal, including fish and salads. It can also be used as one of the ingredients in a bouquet garni.

Where to Sow
Early sowings can be made into pots or trays under glass at 15°C, lightly covering the seed with a sprinkling of compost. Sowings can also be made at regular intervals into small pots of compost on a warm light windowsill all year round. Alternatively Sow seed thinly April to May direct outdoors where they are to crop, 1.5cm (½in) deep, into finely-prepared soil.

What to do next
Glasshouse sowings can be pricked out into individual pots or trays and grown under glass before gradually hardening off in a cold frame and planting out after all risk of frost has passed. Outdoor sowings should be gradually thinned to an eventual spacing of 25cm (10in). Windowsill sowings can be harvested as required.

HANDY TIP
Seed can sometimes be slow and erratic to germinate, taking up to 6 weeks so please be patient. Water regularly through dry weather.

Once you have added your items to the basket you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via PayPal.

Click and Collect

We offer a click and collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm 7 days a week.

We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device

Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within an hour but sometimes this is not possible.

Local Deliveries

Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre. All deliveries are from Monday to Friday 9-4. 

We offer curbside/driveway drop off only. 

Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.

E-Gift Card Delivery

  • Delivery for our E-Gift Cards is FREE as it is sent to an email address of your choice.

  • Please note that your E-Gift Card will automatically be sent to the email address provided upon completion of payment.

  • If you would like it to be sent directly to your recipient at the time of purchase, please enter their email address in the 'Delivery Address' section at checkout. 

  • Alternatively, you can forward the email to them at a preferred date.
