Short description

Fatsia japonica is a bold, evergreen shrub known for its large, glossy, deeply lobed leaves that add instant architectural appeal to any garden. In late autumn, it produces dense clusters of creamy-white flowers, which provide seasonal interest and attract pollinators. It's ideal as a focal point in sheltered borders or near buildings for a tropical feel.

Grows to around 2m tall and 1m wide. Best in partial or full shade, in moist but free-draining soil. Tolerates most soil types except waterlogged or very dry chalk. Prefers a sheltered spot, out of strong wind. Prune in spring to remove any dead or damaged growth and shape the plant as needed. Mulch in spring and feed with a balanced fertiliser. Water in dry spells during establishment.

We only operate in a select area of East & West Sussex​ and are unable to send items across the UK.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal. 

Please enter a billing address and, if required, a different delivery address. 

Click and Collect

We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.

We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.

Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.

Local Deliveries

Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre. 

We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only. 

Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
