Dog friendly'Pride of Rochester' is one of the most beloved varieties of Deutzia, known for its vigour and elegance. In early summer, it produces an abundance of honey-scented, star-shaped flowers that are held in dense, upright panicles. Each bloom is a masterpiece of small, tightly packed petals that are pure white on the inside and flushed with soft pink on the outside, creating a beautiful bi-colour effect as the buds open.
The plant has a tall, fountain-like habit with attractive, dull green, slightly rough leaves (hence the name scabra). As the shrub matures, it develops interesting cinnamon-coloured peeling bark on its older stems, providing subtle interest during the winter months. It is an elite choice for the back of a sunny or partially shaded border where it can reach its full height and spill over smaller perennials. To ensure it establishes a deep and resilient root system to support its tall stems, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
