Evergreen shrub that has bright red, young leaves that turn dark green as they mature. A wonderfully versatile bush that grows about 30cm per year. They need regular pruning to keep them bushy, and can be pruned hard. They make a great hedge. White flowers are borne in early summer if the bush is left unpruned in the autumn and winter. They will grow in any moisture retentive soil in sun or partial shade.

Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin' is an eye-catching evergreen shrub with vibrant red young leaves that mature to a glossy dark green. Perfect for hedging or as a standalone feature, it grows approximately 30cm per year. To keep it dense and bushy, regular pruning is essential. In early summer, unpruned shrubs may bear clusters of small white flowers. Thrives in moisture-retentive soil with sun or partial shade. Use Rootgrow at planting and feed with a balanced fertiliser. Ultimate height and spread reach 4m by 4m.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect

We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.

We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.

Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.

Local Deliveries

Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre. 

We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only. 

Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
