Dog friendly'Bannow Bay' is a relatively recent and highly sought-after introduction from Ireland. It is essentially a dwarf, more colourful sport of 'Tom Thumb'. During the spring and summer, the small, wavy-edged leaves are a mix of olive green with creamy-white margins. As the weather turns colder in autumn and winter, the plant undergoes a "miracle" transformation: the foliage flushes with deep pink, burgundy, and plum-purple tones, providing incredible winter interest.
Because of its compact, slow-growing nature and naturally spherical shape, it requires almost no pruning to maintain its form. This makes it an elite choice for low-maintenance borders, contemporary "city" gardens, or as a striking architectural specimen in a patio container. Like most Pittosporums, it is salt-tolerant and thrives in coastal locations. It prefers a sunny, sheltered spot to achieve the best winter colour. To ensure it develops a strong root system, especially in sandy coastal soils, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting.

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
