Dog friendly'Saphyr Rouge' is part of the elite Saphyr series, specifically bred for superior disease resistance and heavy fruiting. In late spring, the shrub is smothered in a cloud of small, fragrant white flowers that are a magnet for bees. These are followed by massive clusters of berries that turn a vivid, glowing red as autumn approaches, providing a vital food source for birds during the winter months.
With its dense, thorny branches and upright habit, it is one of the best plants available for creating a secure, "intruder-proof" hedge. It is equally successful when trained against a wall or fence as an ornamental climber. The foliage is dark green, glossy, and remains on the plant year-round, offering excellent privacy and structure. This variety is incredibly resilient and will perform well even in tough conditions or industrial areas. To help it establish quickly and develop a strong root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
