Dog friendly'Cosmopolitan' is widely considered one of the best pink Rhododendrons for the modern garden. It is particularly valued for its exceptionally tidy and compact growth habit, forming a dense, rounded mound of leathery, dark green foliage. In late spring, the plant is almost entirely obscured by a spectacular display of large, bright pink flower clusters. Each individual bloom features a dramatic, darker blotch that adds depth and character to the floral display.
This variety is notably robust and relatively sun-tolerant compared to many other Rhododendrons, though it still performs best in partial shade. It is an elite choice for adding structure and spring colour to a shaded border or as a focal point in a woodland-style garden. Like all Rhododendrons, it requires acidic soil to thrive. To ensure it establishes a healthy root system and can absorb vital nutrients effectively, we recommend using Rootgrow Ericaceous when planting.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
