Dog friendlyThis compact, deciduous shrub offers year-round interest, starting with salmon-pink young leaves that turn fresh green in summer before fading to rich yellow and orange tones in autumn. However, its most striking feature is the bark; as the leaves fall, the stems are revealed in glowing shades of yellow and apricot-orange, creating a spectacular winter display. It has an upright, bushy habit, making it perfect for small gardens or large containers.
To highlight the winter bark, plant it against a dark background or alongside evergreen shrubs like Rhododendrons or the dark foliage of Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens'. Japanese Maples require a sheltered spot away from strong winds and harsh afternoon sun to prevent leaf scorch. To ensure the plant establishes a strong root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting. To maintain leaf colour and plant health, apply Vitax Acer Feed during the growing season.

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
