Short description

Cercis canadensis ‘Forest Pansy’ is a stunning deciduous small tree or large shrub, admired for its deep purple, heart-shaped leaves that emerge in spring and gradually fade to bronze, orange, and red in autumn. In early spring, clusters of small, pinkish-purple flowers bloom on bare branches, creating a striking contrast before the foliage appears.

Ideal as a specimen tree in borders or lawns, it prefers a sheltered position and benefits from protection from cold, drying winds. This ornamental tree provides multi-season interest with its vivid foliage and spring blossom.

Growing conditions:

  • Position: Full sun to partial shade

  • Soil: Moist but well-drained, fertile soil (avoid chalky soils)

  • Care: Mulch in spring, prune only lightly after flowering to remove any damaged or crossed stems. Shelter from strong winds.

We only operate in a select area of East & West Sussex​ and are unable to send items across the UK.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal. 

Please enter a billing address and, if required, a different delivery address. 

Click and Collect

We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.

We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.

Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.

Local Deliveries

Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre. 

We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only. 

Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
