Dog friendly'Flaviramea' is an essential shrub for winter interest, providing a sharp, sunny contrast to the red-stemmed dogwoods. During the spring and summer, it carries a lush canopy of fresh green leaves and small clusters of creamy-white flowers, followed by white berries. However, its true value is revealed in autumn when the leaves turn a lovely, clear yellow before falling to reveal the architectural, neon-yellow stems.
This shrub is particularly effective when planted in groups or alongside red-stemmed varieties like 'Sibirica' for a vibrant multi-colored winter look. It is exceptionally tough and thrives in damp or boggy areas where other shrubs might struggle. To maintain the brightest stem colour, it is best to use a technique called "coppicing"—cutting the stems back to within 5–10cm of the ground every year or two in early spring. This encourages the growth of vigorous new shoots, which carry the most intense colour. To ensure quick establishment, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
