Dog friendly'Golden Spirit' is the first yellow-leaved cultivar of the Smoke Bush, bringing a brilliant burst of sunshine to any garden space. In spring, the rounded leaves emerge in a soft lime-green before maturing into a radiant, buttery yellow that resists scorching in the sun. As summer progresses, the plant produces its signature frothy, pinkish-grey flower panicles, which hover above the foliage like puffs of smoke.
In autumn, the display continues as the golden leaves transition into a fiery kaleidoscope of orange, coral, and red. Its upright, bushy habit makes it an ideal specimen plant or a vibrant backdrop for darker-foliaged perennials. To ensure the most intense leaf colour, plant in a position with plenty of sunlight. While it requires minimal pruning, it can be cut back hard in early spring to encourage larger foliage. To help establish a resilient root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting. To support its vibrant growth, apply Vitax Q4 All Purpose Fertiliser in the spring.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
