Dog friendly'Elijah Blue' is widely considered one of the best and longest-lived varieties of Blue Fescue. It is prized for its consistent, brilliant blue colour, which remains vibrant even during the heat of summer and through the winter months. The plant grows in a tight, rounded "hedgehog" habit, making it an ideal choice for adding structural contrast to gravel gardens, rockeries, or contemporary minimalist designs.
In early summer, it produces delicate, narrow flower spikes that rise above the foliage. These start with a blue-green tint and eventually mature into a soft wheaten-tan, adding further architectural interest. Extremely drought-tolerant and salt-resistant once established, 'Elijah Blue' is a "tough-as-nails" performer that thrives in sunny spots with very well-drained soil. It is particularly effective when planted in groups to create a sea of blue or used as a tidy edge for paths and sunny borders. To ensure it establishes quickly in dry or sandy soils, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
