Dog friendlyThis variety, often known as 'Lynwood Gold', is an improved form of the common Forsythia, prized for its larger, broader petals and more prolific flowering. In March and April, it transforms the garden with its electric yellow display, signalling the end of winter. The flowers cover the upright branches from top to bottom, creating a blaze of colour that is hard to miss. Once the blooms fade, fresh green leaves appear, which often turn shades of yellow and purple in the autumn.
It is an incredibly reliable and hardy shrub, tolerant of most soils and pollution, making it a staple for town gardens and hedging. It flowers best in full sun. To ensure the plant establishes a strong root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting. To improve soil biology and support healthy, vigorous growth, apply Empathy Biofertiliser Tree and Shrub Food regularly.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
