Dog friendlyThis eye-catching variety is prized for its shimmering, metallic foliage which brightens up shady corners of the garden. The leaves are a cool silver, overlaid with a complex network of burgundy veins and backed by a rich violet-purple underside. In late spring and summer, the plant produces tall, wiry stems topped with clouds of small, bell-shaped white flowers that hover high above the foliage mound. As autumn approaches, the silver leaves often take on a pink or purplish blush, providing ever-changing interest.
It is an excellent choice for edging paths, underplanting roses, or combining with dark-leaved plants like Ophiopogon for high contrast. It thrives in containers or borders. To ensure the plant establishes a strong root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting. To support vigorous root growth and maintain a robust clump, apply Levington Fish, Blood & Bone in early spring.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
