Dog friendlyThis cheerful shrub is a fantastic way to add brightness to a boundary line. A variegated sport of the common green Privet, it features oval leaves with a rich green centre and a broad, golden-yellow margin. It is extremely robust and tolerant of urban pollution, making it a staple in town gardens. While technically semi-evergreen (meaning it may drop some leaves in severe winters), it generally holds its cover well. If left unpruned, it produces panicles of creamy-white flowers in summer which are loved by bees, followed by black berries.
It is best known as a formal hedge that can be clipped tightly to keep a neat shape. To ensure the plants establish a strong and extensive root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting. To support its fast growth and maintain a thick, dense structure, apply Levington Growmore in early spring.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
