Dog friendlyThis magnificent hybrid is often cited as one of the best of all Magnolias for general planting. A cross between Magnolia kobus and Magnolia stellata, it combines the hardiness and vigour of the former with the abundant flowering of the latter. In April, the tree is transformed into a cloud of white, as thousands of multi-petalled blooms open on bare wood, releasing a wonderful citrus-like perfume. Unlike some Magnolias, it flowers from a young age and is robust enough to tolerate more exposed positions than its delicate cousins.
It grows into a substantial, conical tree, making it an ideal specimen for a lawn or woodland garden. While it is more tolerant of different soils than many Magnolias, it thrives best in slightly acidic conditions. To ensure the plant establishes a strong and extensive root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting. To maintain the correct soil acidity and ensure lush, healthy growth, apply Empathy Ericaceous Liquid Seaweed regularly during the growing season.

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
