Dog friendlyThis bushy shrub provides year-round interest with its glossy, lance-shaped leaves. In mid-spring, it produces drooping panicles of small, white, lily-of-the-valley style flowers. These are followed by the striking new growth, which starts intense red, fades to coppery-bronze, and finally matures to a deep, dark green. It thrives in sheltered spots and is ideal for shrub borders or large containers.
For a cohesive display in acidic soil, plant it alongside evergreen Camellias or Rhododendrons to provide contrasting flower shapes. As this is an acid-loving plant, we recommend using Rootgrow Ericoid when planting to establish the specific mycorrhizal fungi it needs. To maintain the vibrancy of the foliage, feed regularly with Empathy Ericaceous Liquid Seaweed.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
