Short description

Prunus 'Amanogawa' is a beautiful, upright flowering cherry tree with a narrow, columnar shape, perfect for smaller gardens or tight spaces. In late spring, it’s covered in soft, fragrant, semi-double pale pink flowers, which stand out especially well against darker foliage or walls. This elegant tree holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit and is popular for adding height and seasonal interest without taking up much room. Its vertical form also pairs well with crimson-leaved plants like Acers or Berberis.

Grows to approximately 6m tall and 1m wide. Thrives in full sun to partial shade in well-drained, fertile soil. Fully hardy and tolerant of urban conditions. Water regularly in dry periods until well established. Prune only if necessary to maintain shape—best done in summer after flowering. Apply a mulch in spring to conserve moisture and suppress weeds.

We only operate in a select area of East & West Sussex​ and are unable to send items across the UK.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect

We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.

We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.

Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.

Local Deliveries

Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre. 

We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only. 

Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
