Dog friendlyThis vigorous Dutch variety is widely considered the best early redcurrant for the garden. It is one of the first to ripen, producing long strings of glossy, deep red berries in early summer which have a superb flavour—sharp but sweet enough to be eaten fresh. Because it flowers early, it avoids many pests, though it appreciates a sheltered spot to protect the blossoms from late frosts. It is a strong grower with an upright habit, making it ideal for training as a cordon against a wall or fence, or growing as a free-standing bush.
The fruit is perfect for summer puddings, jams, and jellies. To ensure the plant establishes a strong and extensive root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting. To promote vigorous growth and maximise the yield of sweet fruit, apply Vitax Q4 All Purpose Fertiliser in early spring.

Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
