Dog friendly'Goldflimmer' is a standout variety of Rhododendron ponticum that offers year-round visual interest. Unlike most Rhododendrons that are purely valued for their spring bloom, this variety features dark green leaves with a bold, irregular splash of bright golden-yellow in the centre. This variegation is stable and provides a luminous quality to shaded corners of the garden, even when the plant is not in flower.
In late spring and early summer, 'Goldflimmer' produces dense clusters of soft lilac-purple flowers, each marked with a small brownish-yellow flare on the upper petal. It has a neat, rounded, and dense growth habit, making it an elite choice for woodland gardens, shaded borders, or as a structural specimen in a large container. To ensure it thrives in the acidic conditions it requires, we recommend using Rootgrow Ericaceous when planting to support nutrient uptake.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
