Dog friendlyThis dense, bushy shrub is a garden essential for providing year-round structure and winter interest. It features smaller, neater leaves than the common Viburnum tinus, making it ideal for smaller gardens or pots. The show begins in late autumn when clusters of deep pink buds appear, persisting through the coldest months before opening into blush-white flowers. These are often followed by dark metallic-blue berries. It is incredibly versatile, working equally well as a specimen shrub, a formal hedge, or a backdrop for other winter-flowering plants.
For a vibrant winter display, plant it alongside the red stems of Cornus or the golden flowers of Mahonia. It is tough, hardy, and tolerates a wide range of conditions, including shade and coastal winds. To ensure the plant establishes a strong root system, we recommend using Rootgrow when planting. To support strong growth and prolific flowering, apply Levington Fish, Blood & Bone in early spring.

Placing an Online Order with Goldcliff Garden Centre
Once you have added your items to the basket, you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect
We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6 pm - 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email, as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours, but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre.
We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
